Jason Thibeault is currently the Sr. Director, Technology Alliances and Cloud Strategy at Limelight Networks. In this position, he is charged with managing the Technology Partner Program, identifying ways to integrate partners into the product portfolio to fill gaps and needs, as well as driving the corporate cloud strategy. In addition, Jason also manages several products including Media Transcode, COMPUTE, Media Tag (built on COMPUTE), and the Streaming portfolio which accounts for a significant percentage of Limelight’s overall revenue. Prior to Limelight, Jason was the Founder and CTO of GoWare, Inc., an innovative mobile software company that provided a robust, open-standards platform for the user-publication of personalized mobile content independent of carrier and device. GoWare was spun-out of Q2 Labs, a product development company that Jason founded with VC partners, and formally launched at the prestigious DEMO conference. During his two years at Q2 Labs, Jason filed over 65 provisional and 5 non-provisional patents as well as developing numerous prototypes and technology products. Jason has also held positions as CEO of a boutique technology-consulting firm, providing technical due-diligence services for Silicon Valley-based VCs, and CTO/CIO of jdpower.com, the web-based spinout of J.D. Power and Associates. Jason holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine Campuswide Honors Program and a M.A. in English, with distinction, from California State University, Northridge.
